Well anyone who's read can tell where I'm gonna stand on all this.
AFC title was taken by the Denver Broncos. I said it would be; home field advantage for the Broncos. Again, the only true team to have home team advantage.
Close game, but Patriots didn't score a ton early, and it cost them dearly. Behind before the end of the 3rd quarter, I knew it was over. 12-17 then, means they fouled up on a point after attempt, or could only manage to get into position enough for two field goals.
Denver winning 18-20 makes me wonder again when the Patriots will give a new quarterback a chance. Brady unable to complete passes, and getting intercepted all game - yes they finished only two behind, but the game could have been changed by two simple factors; playing in New England, and completing passes.
As for the Arizona Carolina match up for the NFC, we know who was bound to win that one. The surprising side being that the Panthers did it so explosively.
An offensive presence enough to only lose one this season, but known for their defenseman; playing a team that was said to be their most difficult opponents for the season, they destroyed them offensively. Now we know how deep the Carolina Panthers roster is.
The only question remaining; can they stand up against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos? If SuperBowl XLVIII showed us anything... yeah, the Panthers have a shot.
