Generally when I use the washroom, I have a specific reason to be there. That reason is not to hold a conversation.
Having a Service Dog can make doing some of the simplest tasks a challenge. Taking a leak for instance. All I want to do is focus on the task at hand. I have no interest in talking with you about my dog, her breed, her job and how she does it.
And when I finish, I want to wash my hands and leave. Not need to battle my way around you to get to the sink, while you stare at me.
And no I don't use the lovely germ spewers; I use paper towel. And no... I don't want you to grab me some, I am more than capable of getting my own.
I'm sure everything I've said makes sense, and everyone feels the same in some respects. I'm sure conversation about anything with any stranger in the public washroom is frowned upon.
If only more felt that way.
