Hyperloop Transportation Technologies will be using a new technology n their transport pods that could have Marvel's lawyers tearing through their copyrights and trademarks. Working with a Slovenian Materials Firm known as c2i, they've created a carbon fiber composite to cover their pods on the inside and out. The fiber will be embedded with sensors which monitor the transportation pod's stability, temperature, and integrity at all times, giving continuous feedback to headquarters. If a pod is damaged in transit it can be pulled as soon as it reaches the dock.
HTT and c2i claim that the material is ten times stronger than steel, and weighs five times less than aluminum.
I've shied away from naming the composite because... it's kind of hilarious.
Who remembers the Wakandan rare Earth metal that coats the Black Panther's armour, and is Captain America's shield. Yeah, they've gone and named it Vibranium.
That's like knocking on someone's door to tell them you're going to rob them.
