I've taken part in the dating world. It's by no means for the faint of heart, nor the daft. But if you have brain cells to rub together, everyone around you can seem like complete idiots.
Women have always been secretive about their age; it was a taboo subject after all. Something that was not to be brought up. But in modern dating, where the younger generations have become and are becoming more sexually knowledgeable, active, and aggressive everyone needs to pay closer attention to the age of their sexual partner, whether they're male or female.
Certain countries have different rules regarding age of consent. USA has always been vocal about their age being 18. I dunno the rules there and I don't need to.
Canadians have been led to believe their age of consent is the same; it isn't. It's much younger, but remains the same as The States for... "rear entry" let's call it. lol
But I digress.
This comes up as I just watched a Philip DeFranco video about Tyga, Kylie Jenner, and Molly O'Malia.
Tyga apparently has been in the news for some shady things in the last; between controversial rap lyrics, and starting to date Kylie Jenner when he was 25, and she was only 17. But now... he's hit the jackpot.
Molly O'Malia has lawyered up at 14. The sides of the story are skewed, but what is known for sure is they were texting. And they both had iPhones.
Text messages have been released that show she did tell him she was 17. But her story sounds shakey, as it was sexual in mature, but wasn't and he was only asking her to FaceTime. She said no, but he kept on.
He says he wanted to hear her sing with his producers, and that was his reasoning. Either way he was caught cheating on Miss Jenner in the past; who he was cheating with is besides the point. Transexual or not. What that does do is make me wonder WHY Kylie is still with him, and also makes him look guilty of cheating again.
Bottom line... everyone, be careful. Whether Molly O'Malia (who does NOT look like a 14 year old, by the by) is right in her claims, or is just claiming this as a came grab, just make sure you're aware you know who you're talking to, their age, and the way you're speaking with them.
As boring as it sounds, caution is today's best option.
